With a new Corei7 and an array of new mobile models, Intel is going to update its chips’ price list.
The Core i7 or the Nehalem is an update that various gamers have been anticipating for quite some time, the chip was first introduced during November last year, and now this new update from Intel is going to include i7-975 core that has 8 threads, 4 cores 8M L3 cache and 3.33GHz processor. It will be available with the price tag of $999.
The given threads in this new update can double the tasks which some processor can perform these days. QPI stands for Quick Path Interconnect technology which is Intel’s newly introduced technology. The given specs are quite similar except the 3.06 GHz clock speed it will be available with the price tag of $562.
The i7-975 along with Nvidia GeForce 1GB GTS 250 graphics card can be configured in HP’s m9600T tower in just $1900.
Falcon Northwest and some other vendors are offered in other decked out systems along with higher price tags.
Another much anticipated chip in this connection was Intel’s ULV processors. Some of these devices were listed in March, but SU2700 that is 10-watt architecture based Pentium is new in this list. The chip is not being listed by Intel right now and they are also not offering its price details. However, Intel says that the notebooks which will house this chip will be available with the price tag of $499.
