Xiaomi 13 smartphones will get a ceramic body

It has long been known that Xiaomi is working on a new series of Xiaomi 13, which may be presented at the end of 2022. Against this background, there are more and more rumors and various leaks. One of these was shared by an insider Digital Chat Station.

According to the insider Xiaomi 13 series will get a body made of premium quality ceramics. Ceramic and previously used by the manufacturer in smartphones Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra and Xiaomi Mix 4, but this time it will be produced by a special 24 technological process.

It is also not yet clear how this will affect the performance of the device. After all, the ceramic is capable of retaining heat, which means that overheating of the smartphone can occur if the manufacturer does not come up with a special cooling system. For example, the Mi 11 Ultra involved technology that allows the use of graphite plates and an evaporation chamber to remove heat.

In terms of technical specifications Xiaomi 13 will get Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset produced by TSMC using 4-nm process technology and three-cluster architecture.
