Apple started deleting old apps from the App Store

Apple has started to remove from the App Store applications that have not been updated for a long time. Developers began to receive notifications to this effect. The message, titled "App Improvement Notice", says that Apple will remove the app if the developer doesn't update it within 30 days.

Many developers have confirmed receiving such a letter. For example, the creator of the game Motivoto reported that it may be deleted because it hasn't been updated since March 2019.

Another developer, Costa Eleftheriou, said that Apple had already removed his FlickType keyboard for the Apple Watch. Since he hadn't updated it in more than two years.

The company has done this practice before. It is believed that bugs can be found in old apps, which can be used by attackers to steal user data and other similar things.
