In UK, blogging is really hitting the big time. According to some statistic in a week time, one out of every 84 website visits is for a weblog.

This shows that in the week almost 1.19% of all UK internet traffic was to blogs. that include Google owned Blogger, MySpace blog featuring and other traditional media like Guardian and the BBC.
These statistics present a huge 101% rise droning the past three years, this rise is quite higher than that of many established news and media websites.

It seems that the Brits are more inclined to blogs than the Americans as in May almost 0.73% of US traffic was to blogs and in the UK it was 1.09%

The word blog is an abridged form of the phrase ‘weblog’ and its original concept was to serve as a personal online diary that available to some specific audience.
