Intel released a new Arc graphics card driver, but it didn't get rid of problems
Problems with computer games on systems with discrete Arc graphics cards persisted after Intel released the second version of its device driver, Neowin, a portal for the information and communications technology community, reported April 9.
Intel released the second version of the driver with build number 30.0.101.1330 for the Windows family of operating systems (OS) in early April. It is noted that most of the problems remain the same as with the previous version.
It is noted that in the second version problems with the work of software (software), in particular, Topaz Labs Video Enhance AI and Adobe Lightroom, as well as with computer games Horizon Zero Dawn, Shadow of the Tomb Raider, Strange Brigade, Borderlands 3, Diablo 2: Resurrected and others have been corrected.
At the same time, problems with other games persisted or worsened. For example, Back 4 Blood, Forza Horizon 5, Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, FIFA 22, Gears 5, Guardians of the Galaxy, Metro Exodus: Enhanced Edition.
It is noted that the games may not start at all, shut down when you try to start a broadcast or simply close randomly. In addition, trying to capture audio during a broadcast may lead to the end of your own application to work with Intel Arc Control video cards.
Apparently, Intel video cards and their associated software are not yet out of the "child's play" stage.
