The experts of analytical company Jon Peddie Research (JPR) have prepared a report relating to the world market of graphics processing units (GPU) for PCs. According to their calculations, GPU shipments in the fourth quarter of 2021 amounted to 101 million units, having decreased in annual terms by 15%, while PC central processing unit shipments in annual terms decreased by 21%.
AMD's share of the GPU market increased 0.7% from the previous quarter, Intel's share decreased 0.1%, and Nvidia's share decreased 0.60%. Distribution of the market by quarter is shown on the diagram.
